Whether you're a member of the church or not, we're always here to pray for you when you're struggling
and it seems like life is too much. Of course, we're equally happy to share the times of blessing
and celebration too!
If you would like prayer or to offer praise, you can just enter your details in the form below,
together with your request.
Our pastoral team is a small group of church members who offer spiritual, emotional and practical
support to the church and the community. Our prayer team organise prayer for those in need
in the church and community. They pray together and arrange for prayers to be said in church
and in our individual house groups. Whatever your situation, your prayers will be said
by many across the church.
If God has blessed you or answered your prayers in some way, it's good to share that too.
Prayer is a way of life to many people, because people feel that prayer changes their lives.
When the Christian development agency Tearfund surveyed 1,000 randomly-selected adults,
they found that one in six prayed daily and one in four at least once a week. Altogether some 42% of UK residents said they prayed.
After praying, 38% reported feeling "peaceful and content" and 57% said it changed what happened in their lives.
Top prayer topics in order of popularity were family and friends, thanking God, guidance, healing and worldwide problems such as poverty, wars and disaster.
If you've never prayed before, you can start right now! You can say a simple prayer like the one below and
then just pour your heart out to God. He's always listening.
Lord God, please accept my prayers just as they are, in the same way that you accept me just as I am. Amen.
