Sunday Worship

Lakeside comes together as a family every week at our Sunday Worship.
 
Sunday Worship is the time we set aside to praise God together as a community and learn about what God intends for our lives as a group through the Bible.
 
Our worship is all inclusive and lively. We welcome young children and encourage active involvement.
 
We sing modern worship songs led by a gifted group of musicians. We express our thanks to God openly, and we share in prayer times. We have a lesson every week, where the link is made between Biblical teaching and its relevance for us today.
 
For those looking for a more peaceful encounter with God and others , we also have a Quiet Room where you can go just to experience the peace of God alone, with no distractions. Coffee, tea and other drinks are available.
 
Following the service we have an hour of catching up with each other over a coffee – all welcome.
 

Prayer Meetings

We hold two group prayer meetings each week, open to all.
 
These meetings give all the chance to meet as a group and share our concerns, needs, and desires, with God.
 
Of course, we're encouraged to pray at all times – this isn’t a one off opportunity to let loose on God! But it does give us the opportunity to share our thoughts with others and have them petition God on our behalf. It also allows us to pray as a group for the wider issues in life and the events facing our community and the world.
