Our Men’s Fellowship is a group of friends who encourage, support and learn from each
other.
We meet for breakfast, social events, bible study and as
prayer partners to address some of the issues that
particularly challenge men. These include managing our
ego, developing intimacy, being a good husband and
father, financial management, work and career, and mid
life transitions.
Our group is an all age group which really benefits from
life experience that each of us contributes.
We also have collaborative meetings with our church
partners at The Church at Perton and The King’s Church,
Wolverhampton.

Like men, women have special needs.
These needs are the focus of our Women’s Fellowship, our
group where women of all ages come together and share
their common interests, work through their life
challenges, and work out how to live fulfilling
Christian lives.
The Fellowship meets on a regular basis to share with
each other. Events include talks, coffee, pampering,
creativity, retreats, and social events.
In our group we cover topics such as work life balance,
motherhood, relationships, life transitions, and
managing money.
Our group includes women of all stages in life – from
those fresh out of school to seniors, which helps us to
get a better understanding of life’s journey from those
who have been this way before.

J Walkers is our walking and outdoors group.
The group meets every month for a walk of between three
and four miles, within a half hours drive of Perton.
Walks are of a level suitable for all.
We also hold more adventurous events, including longer day treks further afield,
and also camping trips for the summer months.
If you'd like to know more about J Walkers,
send an e mail to Ian Grantham who leads J Walkers.

Most of us would love our kids to grow up with a sense of right and wrong, understanding their own value and their proper place in the world around them.
At Lakeside, our volunteers work hard to ensure that those in the Young Church, from birth to 21, have the opportunity to be immersed in the love of God.
We believe that this gives individual children the best possible start in life, helping them to establish good morals from an early age, morals that will help them throughout life.

The Lakeside crèche lets parents focus on worship and praise safe in the knowledge that their youngest are in caring hands. We take great care with our early years babies and toddlers, providing the security and comfort you'd expect from a loving family. The toddlers have an opportunity to play during their time together.
After a short introduction in the Church, the young ones join their group leaders for an hour of fun filled exploration. Through stories, drama, arts and crafts, they explore the Christian message shaped specially for them. Special emphasis is placed on morals and developing character.
EBC is the hive of activity in the church every Sunday morning.
As with Young Church, the children leave the church after the introduction for a time of fun and friendship where they learn about the Bible and its stories.
The time is used to help them to learn the love of God for them and their friends.
There is always something going on in EBC, whether its making something to give to family and friends, learning a new play, singing and dancing, or just chilling out for a change!
From the EBC our young people move up to RDD. Each Sunday they meet to sing, pray-out-loud and get familiar with reading the bible.
Using teaching materials we follow up a mixture of subjects such as bible stories and parables and also look at what the church is all about.
The children are also kept very busy: during the last year some of our activities have included making craft wares; going for walks; playing games; and helping to produce a couple of dramas.
RDD is an active and lively group where young people can explore issues of faith in a contemporary context.
The Late Breakfast Club aims to help young people know Jesus in a personal way or deepen their existing commitment to Him.
Each Sunday they leave the church to hang out in a home with other young people, where they can chat, eat food, play footy, make friends, and also have a time of worship.
During the week LBC meet one evening for their home group, which they prepare and where they chat about stuff like faith, feelings and friendship through music, technology and discussion.
The group really helps them to make the move from teenagers to young adults who make a full contribution to the church - the LBC occasionally lead the adults in morning worship in the church.
